Price of Lessons – see current price list

 

The lesson prior to your practical test is a minimum of one hour and the test itself, is classed as one hour, (although this will often be a little longer). Only a charge of two hours of lessons will be applied.

 

Payment

Payment is either cash or cheque made payable to the instructor at the time of the lesson or as arranged in advance. Unfortunately there are currently no credit facilities offered.

 

Martins Driving Academy Stevenage reserve the right to refuse the use of the instructional car for test purposes should any monies be outstanding.

 

Health

Please let your instructor know of any health issues that may affect your ability to drive.

 

Cancellations

For any pupil needing to cancel a lesson, a minimum of 48 hours notice is required, otherwise the FULL amount of the lesson will be due unless it is possible to fill that time slot.

 

Test Bookings

Both the Theory & Practical tests can be booked through Martins Driving Academy Stevenage, (payable in advance).

 

Practical Driving Tests can be booked once the Theory Test is passed and a suitable driving standard is reached.

 

Should tests be booked a long way ahead, these are done on the provision that the minimum test standard is achieved by that date. If it is judged that test standard hasn’t been reached by that time we reserve the right to move the test to a more appropriate date, however this will not be moved without your prior knowledge. This will allow you the opportunity to make other arrangements to still take your booked test if you so choose as we reserve the right to refuse the use of the car if a test is taken against our advice.

 

Complaints

Complaints against ADI’s are extremely rare but should they be necessary, they should initially be taken up with Martins Driving Academy Stevenage personally, or if this is not to resolved to your satisfaction then reference may be made to:
